A fun & colorful set from Senator of Germany -- the Euro Design Series Colours fountain pen and ball point set.

The fountain pen has a purple barrel with yellow section, a light green cap and magenta clip. It uses standard cartridges or can accept an optional converter to use bottled ink. (The converter is not included with the pen.) The section has a small "ink view" window to determine when the cartridge is empty. The nib is iiridium-tipped steel, size medium (M). The pen has a snap cap (rather than a screw-on cap.

The ball point pen has a light green barrel with a purple nose and a magenta clip. The ends of the pen are yellow. The pen has a spring or "clicker" mechanism -- the top of the pen pushed to extend and retract the point. It uses standard ball point refills (Parker, Pelikan & compatible refills, including standard ballpoint gel refills).

The set comes on a card sealed in plastic with 7 Senator fountain pen refills (blue ink) and 1 ballpoint refill.
