The Pilot Varsity is not fancy but it's a great pen. It's inexpensive so you won't mind giving one to a child who's interested in pens or to a co-worker who asks questions about "those fancy pens" you use. Keep one in your desk or attache for the day when you leave your regular pen at home or when the pen in your pocket is out of ink. Or use a Varsity for a color of ink you use sometimes but not often, such as pink, turquoise or purple (also available in black or blue ink).
