The Silver Streak roller ball pen is made of silver color metal with a satin finish. The clip and trim are also silver-colored but with a glossy finish. The finish is quite nice and the metal has a liquid appearance. The pen is tapered from the middle toward each end. Since the pen is made of metal it is heavier than the more common plastic pens. The pen is a comfortable length with the cap posted. The pen has a snap-on cap (rather than a screw-on cap).

The pen uses Schmidt roller ball refills or can accept Pilot G2 refills. The Pilot G2 refills use gel ink and are incredibly smooth. The pen comes in a box.

The pen is 5 3/8" (13.7 cm) long when capped, 1/2" (1.3 cm) in diameter where the cap meets the barrel, and weighs 1.5 oz (40 gr).
