This pen was marketed by Levenger, it is called the Tuxedo and was made by one of Italy's top pen companies. The cap, barrel and section are made from solid rods of black Lucite. The pen was factory-polished to a durable high-gloss finish. The cap and section have rings of mother of pearl bordered by metal trim rings. The clip and the metal trim rings on the cap & barrel are plated with rhodium for a long-wearing silver-color finish.
The nib is 14 K gold with a rhodium mask to create a two-tone appearance. The nib is size fine (F). The pen uses standard cartridges or fills from a bottle with the converter (included). (The converter screws into the section for a secure fit.)
This pen is previously owned but has seen little use -- it is in pristine condition and comes with the original box & papers. This is a very elegant but understated fountain pen -- it is sure to please.
