The 2001 design, "Odyssey", is made of 18 pieces of wood: six pieces of cherry and 12 pieces of maple. The light center wood is hard maple from Indiana and the outside sections are black cherry from Vermont. The color of the maple is palest honey brown and the cherry is a reddish brown. It is approximately 4-1/4" (110 mm) in diameter. The natural wood is finished with clear acrylic over shellac. Packaged in a gold-tone gift box. (list price $29)
