The 1997 design is a star-like snowflake made of six pieces of black cherry and finished with clear acrylic over shellac. It is approximately 4" (100 mm) in diameter. The reddish brown wood, from Vermont, is estimated to be 125 to 175 years old. Packaged in a gold-tone gift box. (list price $24)
