The Solar roller ball pen from Genoso of Italy. This pen has a design generally associated with Genoso: a short cap, a wide clip and a curved body. The pen uses a standard roller ball refill made by Schmidt and others. The Solar is available in two finishes -- a smooth finish (a traditional finish for pens) and the rubberized finish offered here which looks and feels like rubber but is actually ordinary acrylic. The rubberized finish pen is available in four translucent colors: green, orange, pink and yellow. (I think the yellow has a greenish cast but Genoso says that it is yellow).

This pen uses Schmidt 888, Hauser 707 or Hauser 777 refills.
