The Cities Special Edition pens from Pelikan celebrate the great cities of the world. The pens are the same size as the Souveran 600 series and are available as fountain pen, roller ball or ball point. The fountain pens feature two-tone 18 K gold nibs, have a piston-filling mechanism and use bottled ink only. The pencils and ball points have twist mechanisms (the top of the pen or pencil is twisted to extend or retract the point). The pencils use .7 mm lead; the roller ball and ball point pens use Pelikan refills. All Cities pens and pencils made of translucent acrylic with different for each city. The pens released to date are the green-marbled Berlin, blue-marbled Stockholm (pictured above), red-marbled Madrid, swirled pewter, bronze and yellow San Francisco, the gray-marbled Chicago, and the black & white New York.
