German collector and dealer Regina Martini (author of Pens and Pencils: A Collector's Handbook (ISBN 0764303139)) has announced the first in a line of limited edition pens. The pen is named the Art Deco and is executed in sterling silver with engraved designs. The pens are solid sterling silver and the engravings are stunning examples of art deco design. The Art Deco is available as a fountain pen or ball point pen, or as a fountain pen/ball point set (with matching numbers). Both the fountain pen and ball point are numbered limited editions; the fountain pen is limited to 100 pieces worldwide and the ballpoint to 200 pieces worldwide. The Art Deco is expected in late 2003, and I am accepting orders for the pens. I suggest that you order soon as this is a quite small run even for a limited edition and it will probably sell out quickly.
